I've been preoccupied with a lot of things, and since we're nearing the midterms, I have a lot more to be preoccupied with. I'll try to make it quick, or I won't be able to concentrate on studying again. My teachers seem to be conspiring to dump every piece of homework they have on the students before midterms. As if that's a good idea. I'll tell you about my classes and my teachers. Then you'll understand why I'm stressed.
1st period- Chemistry. Ever since last year in eighth grade, I've decided I'm not going to like science. That's mainly due to how poorly I did on the tests on Biology. Who needs to know that plants make food through the citric acid cycle? The most interesting thing we did that year was dissect fetal pigs. It was good, gross fun. Especially since we did it outdoors, on the picnic tables, in plain view of the sixth and seventh graders on their way to lunch. Some people wanted to try jump roping with the intestines. Thats kinda sick if you ask me (who does, anyway?) A bonus: whoever decides to eat on the picnic table after we were done risk getting unborn pig juice in their lunch. Back to this year. Here are only like, six other freshmen in my chem class, making me feel better. But not by much. I thought I was going to do well, and I actually liked my teacher at first. If you know my by now (had a blog for like, 3 years), I'm wrong. A lot. This is the worst class I have. Dread it every morning. Celebrate after getting through. My teacher doesn't seem to like me. I mean, how can you NOT like me? (For clarification and prevention of angry readers, that was a joke.
2nd period- English. My favorite class of the day! But not cuz of the grammar or sentence participles. I just like that class. My teacher is awesome! He wore a kilt a few weeks ago. And just yesterday, he wore these comically huge glasses while teaching. Lastly, for the past couple of weeks, he's been wearing reindeer antlers. They change color everyday, depending on his mood (not really). When asked where he got them, he replied, "They came with the head."
3rd period- World History. Starting to regret signing up for that one. The workload is intense, and my teacher's notes have NOTHING to do with what's on the test. And he always spend at least fifteen minutes during class telling jokes or talking about bears mauling infants (long story. You probably don't want to hear it). He's even worse than my US History teacher last year, and HE spent 15 minutes one time preaching to us and telling us how we're all gonna fail high school if we keep slacking off. To top it all off, I don't think he likes me that much either. I don't know why. What did I ever do in his class? I only ate my sandwich in there a few times.
4th period- Orchestra. Such a fun class. By the time you get to high school, you start getting serious about what you want to do and what classes you should take. That's why I like it. It weeds out the non serious players from the serious ones. Last year in orchestra class, we barely scraped through our concerts. The back section was always talking, putting on makeup, and texting each other behind the music stands.
Lunch. It's a period to me. It's my favorite nonacademic period.
5th period- Spanish. First, make sure you know the definition of trolling. If not, look it up now. Cuz that's what happened on the first day of school. I sat there, waiting. Looking around, my classmates were so quiet and expectant (HA. I miss those days. There is not a moment of silence in this class anymore). In walked the teacher. He began introducing himself, and told us what we would be doing and learning for the year. I assumed anyway. He said it all in Spanish. He mimed everything for us, holding out a sheet of paper and saying repeatedly, "Papel, papel." We took out paper, then he picked up a pencil and said, "Lápiz." Assuming that means pencil, we took one out. It went on and on, him picking up objects and naming them, and us guessing its meaning. Believe it or not, this actually went on for about 40 minutes. Halfway through that, I started to think joining this class was a bad idea. Maybe I could switch to sign language or something. Then, he suddenly said in perfect English, "Ah, see. You guys could understand me because you paid attention to what I did." He said more, but I didn't pay attention. I was too busy thinking about how we all just got trolled by our Spanish teacher. It was kinda funny.
6th period- Algebra II. Your year could be totally enjoyable, depending on your teachers. I seemed to have some bad luck this year. The upside to the class: grab a nap. As long as you get good grades, it's probably fine, right?
Hope you guys have an enjoyable break. I sure will after these tests are over. I'm going to take all of my exams this semester and exempt out of them ALL at the end of the year. Can't wait! :D Enjoy the winter before its over!

School's Back...
Hooray. It wouldn't be so bad if not for all of the homework and teachers who don't teach. It takes me two hours to complete a chapter in just one class. Who knew an AP class would be this intense? I'm now on a huge time crunch, so I'm taking a distracting break from my reading guides. I just don't want to know what happened in the B.C.E. time period. I can't remember it all. At least Spanish is kinda fun. I learned how to say "You are a beautiful tomato salad."
I fell asleep in math class. I learned that stuff two years ago, and yet the teacher is standing up there telling us about inequalities on a number line, and how you put dots instead of shading for integers cuz you can't have, like, three and a half gerbils. (Shudder) That reminds of the joke that goes:
What's worse than biting an apple and finding a worm inside?
Finding two worms?
No, half a worm.
Worms kinda creep me out. I won't intentionally kill them, but I avoid touching them. I'm glad I wasn't my friend last year in Biology. We were working with mealworms (they can move SO FAST) when this obnoxious kid threw one at her. Ew.
I'm just looking forward to when I turn fifteen in three weeks. I'll learn how to drive, and stuff. I'm the oldest in my group of friends. I have a friend in the same grade as me who's still twelve. How is that POSSIBLE? She didn't skip a grade, I didn't repeat a grade.

Whazzup?
It looks like my blog is getting more popular! It had 7 pageviews last time I checked. Sure, this isn't one of those awesomely popular blogs, but it'd be nice to have a bigger audience, and it'd be nice if my friends actually looked at this. I'm working on my writing skills, and trying to improve the quality of my posts. So far, I think it's the same way I talk, and you do not want to hear me talk; I run on and on and on until the subject gets so boring, I have to shut myself up. I haven't gotten the time to make anything creative, besides modifying my easel to have my own customized pencil holder. I've been obsessed with drawing manga and anime. I don't know how these artists do it, but their drawings are so amazing! Mine looks like the characters tripped and fell in a blender. Eyes are supposed to be the same height and size. Otherwise it looks truly horrifying and gruesome. (Shudder) So, what have you guys been up to? My life is so boring right now, even I don't want to write an autobiography about it. How many would sell anyway? ...No, don't answer that.

So bored...
So, I was just sitting here, contemplating life's questions while playing Papa's Pancakeria. What is our purpose in life? Probably to find a good job and eat food or something. I love food. Now I want pancakes for some weird reason.
Let me ask you guys something. The last week of school, you were all like OMG SUMMER VACATION IS HERE I'M GOING TO GO TO THE BEACH EVERY DAY AND EAT ICE CREAM TIL I EXPLODE! Getting leather-tanned and having delicious ice-creamy explosions doesn't sound as good now. Me? I'm getting bored out of my rapidly emptying skull. Too much free time is bad, in my opinion. I mean, you ever felt like you've slept, played, and ate it all? What next? The only interesting part of my routine schedule is swim practice at 7 in the morning. Afterwards, it's all fun and games until someone gets bored. Whatever happened to good ol' summer fun? Apparently, it retired and moved to Florida. But I can't seem to find it, even though I LIVE in Florida. You have no idea how much I want to go to the beach and build a sand rampart to protect my castle and moat from the crashing two-inch waves. Maybe I can build a beach in the living room. Hey, I've done it before when I was seven. I can do it again, but this time, probably with more trouble afterwards due to my age, and therefore my expected "common sense that it's not a good idea to fill a living room with sand."
Ok, I'm getting tired of hearing the keyboard clicking and clacking. I'll post more later, sometime. I'll be trying new things that are out of routine now that I have so much free time anyway. I'm thinking about a "Wear Your Lunch as Your Hat Day."

Summer Break
CLAP CLAP CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!! It is summer! The great triumph of the human spirit, something something. Whatever, it's still amazingly awesome! I could say I've been busy with the final exams. But school is over now, so I should have no excuse. Besides, what is there to blog about? Maybe I'll give you opinions on various subjects based on dictionary roulette. Does that sound interesting? I've got nothing else.
Hmmm, water polo. I've actually played water polo several times before, and I have to say, it's sprinting in disguise. It's only fun if you have this totally awesome player on your team, and a goalie that is willing to block the ball with her face. The thing that would make it awful is if your team got called out for having an obnoxiously cheering goalie. The best part was the pizza party afterward. The other team's goalie got up on the table and danced. It was more hilarious than it sounds right now.
I've seen other blogs, and they are so much better. There's just something about it that makes it, good. I have yet to get there. Post your comments. I'll try to find more to post. But between summer break and no school, I need a break from all of this work.

Really?
Wait, it's either really been a YEAR since my last post, or I'm looking at the wrong post date. Well, I've been busy. Yeah. I've been addicted to this site called Reddit that has rage comics. Some of them are hilarious. I got an iPhone, and I've been using it to read comics. So productive. Well, I see that my blog hasn't gotten that many views. They're mostly my friends who do it to say they saw it. I'm studying for my exams anyway, and if you're a student, you'd understand too. I'll try to update because I think I'm going to Thailand for the summer, and I'll be sure to take some pics! :D

History Fair
If you are in middle school, then you have probably heard or done history fair before. This year's theme was "Revolution, Reaction, Reform." I chose to do a website and made my project related to revolution. My topic is about the Baroque Era and it's music. Tell me what you think about my site! http://76962929.nhd.weebly.com
